There are a lot of cat lovers in the knitting world (and dog lovers, too, of course!) so there are lots of fun knitting patterns inspired by cats. The Slouchy Cat Hat by Samantha West features a row of cats walking around the body of the hat.
It’s worked in stranded colorwork in fingering weight yarn. I love the idea of using scraps and making the cats different colors, but that would require a lot of yarn ends! Maybe do some duplicate stitching to give them different looks?
