There are lots of great Halloween themed projects and activities for younger kids, but not so many as students get older.
This project to design and market a haunted house from Appletastic Learning is so cute and looks like it would be a lot of fun for older elementary/middle school kids.
They draw out the floor plan for their house (measuring area and perimeter along the way, of course!) and design a brochure to encourage people to visit, which allows them to practice informational and persuasive writing.
This is part of a packet of fun Halloween activities you can grab from Teachers Pay Teachers, including concession stand math, building a spooky playlist, scary selfie drawing and much more.
