It’s on to the next for ten-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony. The athlete, along with his ex-wife, actor La La Anthony, are listing the Beverly Grove home that once served as their primary Los Angeles residence. The former couple seeks $2.6 million for the renovated 1929 Spanish-style house. Spanning a little over 2,000 square feet, the abode holds three bedrooms and three bathrooms tucked behind a gate and dense hedges.
The landscaped lawns surrounding the single-story white stucco façade host olive trees, a plunge pool and spa, and several lounging and dining spaces, including an open air poolside cabana. Inside, the entry opens to a sunken formal living room, which sports angular dark wood beams that stand out from the white vaulted ceilings. The seating area also boasts a fireplace and a massive picture window. Nearby, the eat-in kitchen features shiny white cabinetry and a dining table topped with a circular ceiling cutout centered by a striking globe-shaped chandelier, complementing the curvature of the nearby wall. Warm limewash walls add dimension to an adjacent breakfast nook.
In the primary suite, glass doors grant direct access to the pool area. There’s also a walk-in closet lined with dark wood and an ensuite bathroom boasting a spacious glass-walled shower, a separate soaking tub with a picture window looking out at a dense bamboo thicket, and dual sinks topped with a squiggly gold fringed light fixture. One of the other bedrooms features a wall-to-wall built-in wood wardrobe.
