I’m currently redesigning my book for a new job, and on issuu I’m seeing a lot of examples where a render or an image is placed in the middle of two pages (2 A4 in horizontal, creating a horizontal view of it).
I think it is wonderful and I’d really like to do it myself, because when I use a horizontal layout on issuu it seems too small for the screen. The thing is where I live you’re almost obliged to send a pdf file and links to issuu are often forgotten; in this case I’d end up with a wonderful issuu book but with a pdf file that will have an image divided in two pages.

It’s great to see those horizontal lay out for the renders, but after it I don’t want to have a render divided in half when I’ll send my book as a pdf.
