Putting together the perfect outdoor space doesn’t have to be hard! We make it simple with curated outdoor decor ideas for every style.
Spring is here in the great state of North Carolina! Because this is our first year in the new house, I am working hard to create outdoor spaces we love. This is the perfect time of year to spend time outside (before it gets blazing hot), and I really want to create comfy and inviting seating areas that fit our style. There are so many amazing outdoor decor ideas out there! As I was shopping for our home, I created a few collections of outdoor decor ideas so that YOU can easily choose the perfect rug and pillow combo that suits your style and color palette.
First, take a look at our screened-in porch. We are all OBSESSED with the screened porch in our house (even Riggins!). It is probably one of my favorite things about our new home! I have been playing around with our decor and furniture because some worked from the deck in the old house, and some just flat out looked terrible. I sold the things that weren’t working in this space to buy new things (you can learn how I do that here). I still have changes I want to make, but I am so happy with where we are right now.

I really like to start with neutral furniture like our Article pieces below. Then I bring in color with bright pillows and rugs and decor touches that match the style and tones in the space. I used the kaleidoscope pillows and a few others I already had and added in the textured turquoise ones. The rug does a great job making the space feel cozy while tying in the colors.
The new house also has space on the front porch for the oversized rocking chairs we’ve had for many years now. I found the most amazing pink pillows–a bright floral and a bright monstera leaf pattern, which I added to a few of the collections below. They add the perfect bright pop to the front of our house for Spring and Summer.
