Last year knitwear designer Melanie Berg was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her treatment was successful and now she’s a passionate advocate for screening and raising awareness of breast cancer, especially among younger women.
All of the proceeds from sales of her Pink is for Power sweater will go to Pink Ribbon, a German organization that works in education and support of people with breast cancer.
The pattern uses two strands of lace weight held together to make a light fingering yarn. It features cables and lace on the front and is available in six sizes.
You can buy the pattern in English or German from Ravelry.
