Ok folks…it’s time to gather up all of your yarn in pinks, reds and whites. That way you can make these absolutely adorable plastic canvas hearts from Julie Measures. These little makes are about as easy as it gets, and who wouldn’t love to get one of these from the favorite crafting Valentine?
Made with plastic canvas, yarn and needles, you do the rest. You decide what size you want your heart to be, cut it out, and then stitch it with whatever pattern you choose. The continental stitch is used for the project. I always like a plastic canvas project where I can come up with my own design in the yarn. It makes the end result unique and it provides that personal touch that pre-designed patterns don’t have.
These little charms would be the ideal hand work project for a dreary day, and you can easily make a number of them in one sitting. Throw a couple of them into a bag of candy and your special someone will be pretty happy on Valentine’s Day!
