Formr is a brand on a mission, a mission to support recidivism and construction waste. The San Francisco-based company’s goal is to create clever designs that employ both construction debris and formerly incarcerated individuals, giving both a second chance. Formr (such a clever name in context) creates relationships with contractors to earn access to job sites. They then sort through site debris, finding the best materials to clean and prep for the fabrication of their products. The brand also knows that people released from incarceration need opportunities, and believe in giving people hope for a successful fresh start and a second chance. All of their home decor designs are made right in San Francisco, giving these materials and humans a way to be useful and successful in their next chapter.
Formr’s latest designs are bright, fun and functional. As someone with a ridiculous collection of sunglasses, I’m drawn toward the Cool mountable sunglasses rack to corral them. Other fresh pieces include the overLAP table that’s perfect for WFH, and the Wax On, Wax Off candleholders with their understated design. Custom colors and sizes also available.
