Hey r/architecture,
I just finished my bachelors degree in design (architecture) and I’ve spent the past 2 months applying for all jobs, even ones asking for experience I don’t have. I’ve been re-doing my folio because my past one was pretty mediocre and I’ve come to realise the old work I have in my folio is pretty mediocre at best and doesn’t reflect too well on me.
I’ve recently become really interested in doing digital drawings/renders of buildings that I find cool or visually appealing and I’m wondering if that would be acceptable work to put into my folio as a substitute for uni work that isn’t really that good.
As an example, here’s a few I’ve done recently
Do you think something like that is acceptable or should I focus on improving past work?
