How come none of you know how to do a reverse Google image search?!
I come to this subreddit daily and there is always someone asking “What style is this?”, without any context or info where the image has come from. There are some of the laziest posts on here. And then to see people just wildly taking stabs in the dark at the style makes me laugh and cry at the same time. As a community, can we just try a little bit harder, please?
After literally 30 seconds of research, the place is 1932 North Burling Street, Chicago. This mega-mansion located in Lincoln Park in the Burling Orchard Howe district. The property hits the real estate market recently at $50 million. Making it the most expensive asking price home listing in Chicago. The most surprising thing I learned, it was only built in 2010!
The correct term you’re looking for is Regency. Whoever said Federal-style needs to look at a Federal-style building.
