I love a good patterned yoke sweater. That little bit of detail provides for some drama in the knitting but the majority of the garment is super simple, which is nice when you need some mindless knitting.
The Thistle Yoke Pullover, designed by Ainur Berkimbayeva, looks like it might be a top-down, circular yoke style sweater, but the yoke is actually worked sideways, with Garter ridges and short rows making the design. Then you graft the top together at the back, pick up stitches and knit the bottom circularly. So fun!
The pattern is available in 8 sizes, from 30 to 63 inches actual chest measurement, and is meant to be worn with 1-4 inches of positive ease.
