Marking its 30th year in practice, Gray Puksand has announced some major changes to its leadership team, elevating seven employees to partner status and another eight to associate and senior associate roles.
“We are focused on the necessary changes to make the move ahead,” said founding partner Robert Puksand. “[We are] proactively initiating change that will shape the future built environment, starting with our own thought leaders and design visionaries.”
The new partners are spread across Gray Puksands offices. In Melbourne Kelly Wellington, Verdon Styles, Dale O’Brien, and Chris Scoble have been made partners. In Sydney the new partners are Barry Hackett and Donna Wheatley, and in Brisbane it’s Maria Correia.
The firm said in a statement that each person would bring their own extensive experience and knowledge to the leadership team, “emphasizing a culture of diversity that aids in delivering tailored responses to clients and their needs.”
Across the Melbourne and Sydney studios, John Czechowski, Fernando Torres, and Rob Fraser have been made senior associates and Aimee Munro, Anna Radice, Andrew Liu, Jeames Hanley, and John Pinkerton have been promoted to associates.
“Our mission is to move architecture and design beyond commodity towards something that adds real value to people’s lives,” said Puksand. “We like to think of architecture not as an object but as an environment that can engage and help foster a greater sense of community.”
