Dezeen Showroom: three Scandinavian design studios – Form Us With Love, Grønlund Design and StokkeAustad – have collaborated to create a family of chairs called RBM Noor for Flokk.
The RMB Noor range is available in a wide variety of colours alongside different bases and stands.
“Our aim was to create a durable and contemporary chair that would stand naturally in various environments,” said Oslo-based StokkeAustad.
“We wanted to express simplicity while emphasising the refinement of the different parts – a clear and subtle silhouette with an inviting body.”
The range includes a version with four legs or a sledge base as well as an office swivel chair and a barstool.
Its recyclable polypropylene shell can be rendered in different finishes, with the option for armrests and upholstery in fabrics from Kvadrat, Gabriel and GU.
“Together, we worked with the palette from RBM’s heritage and added a spark of fresh new colours and materials,” added Stockholm studio Form Us With Love.
“The overall effect is cohesive, sophisticated and contemporary.”
