The Interior Awards have been running for a decade now. What has been an interior project that you’ve found particularly rewarding, inspiring or innovative over that period?
Kate: Blum became involved last year with the introduction of the Residential Kitchen Category Award – although our hardware can be used in commercial applications as well. I’m inspired by so many of these creative and talented people and their work. I couldn’t pick just one.
In this last year of New Zealanders exploring more of our own country, what was a favourite spot that you discovered (or rediscovered)?
Kate: I’m pretty lucky to have the Waitakere Ranges as my backyard. I did go for a nice walk up Paku at Tairua the other weekend – I hadn’t been up there before. You get an amazing view of Pauanui and The Pinnacles.
Tell us about one new skill or interest that you’ve acquired over this last year?
Scott: I picked up yoga this year!
What is a binge-worthy TV show, book, podcasts and other media that you’ve discovered recently?
Kate: Keeping Faith on Neon is my latest binge.
