An apartment by Pelizzari Studio, situated in the heart Florence’s Renaissance quarter, on the first floor of a perfectly restored palace built around a beautiful colonnaded courtyard by Filippo Brunelleschi.
The interior project saw a picky restoration of some existing elements like floorings and frescoed vaults, matched by unexpected solutions in term of material’s choice, colors and furnishings.
Full and vivid colors, refined structural details and exceptional materials are the overarching theme of this marvelous house, where we voluntarily created harmonic yet contrasting rooms.
The living room and bedroom, both developed on the Amsterdam blue colored walls are settled in completely different ways: the first one dares, with its triumph of colors and bold pairings, while the second plays on subtle neutral colors and materials, recalling the secret intimacy of an ancient alcove.
