I lived in an apt with the bathroom door in the bedroom. Not as bad as you would think it would be. The layout was a little different, You would just cut through the corner of the bedroom to get to the bath.
Not an architect, but Ive studied architecture. (whatever that means) Here are some things that jump out:
Having a window on the same wall as the front door means less privacy. I lived in an apartment like that and it was either have people walking by and looking in, or keep the curtains closed. Maybe move it to the wall by the dining table? That would mean the the bottom wall would be the shared. (other apt) That would make the plumbing easier since all of it, including the plumbing from the apt next to it, would be close together.
Move the door to the storage room to the same wall as the front door, and move the bathroom window to the same wall as the bedroom window.
I do like the open layout though. The flow from the front door to the kitchen and the bedroom is nice and easy.
These opinions are just from someone who has lived in a lot of different apartments so, just my 2 cents. Cheers!
