The NETS has announced that the insurer has joined the Board of Directors.
The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS) has announced that State Farm Insurance has now been added to its Board of Directors.
Two representatives from the insurer have been added to the NETS Board of Directors.
“The Board of Directors welcomes State Farm Board representatives Scott Winn, Small Business Insurance Loss Control Administrator, and Liz Pulver, Transportation Safety Research Senior Program Manager, to NETS,” read a statement from Network of Employers for Traffic Safety Board Chair and Global Director of Health & Safety Technology Solutions, UPS, Terry Thomas.
“State Farm is a well-recognized brand that has a long history as a safety pioneer since being founded in 1922 through their efforts to protect customers and communities from the risks of everyday life at home and on the road. Collectively, the NETS Board of Directors could not be more pleased, and we look forward to collaborating with Scott and Liz as we work to reduce risk and save lives,” added Thomas.
The insurer also expressed its excitement in joining the Network of Employers for Traffic Safety Board.
In a media release on its official website, Scott Winn said, “State Farm is excited to join NETS’ Board of Directors and looks forward to partnering with other respected companies to improve road safety for employees and motorists.”

The Board of Directors at NETS is comprised of members from both public and private sector leaders. Each member represents an organization known for its commitment to road safety through proactive safety cultures that push for traffic safety policies and use workplace-based awareness activities. These are leaders from the senior level who promote the NETS mission.
The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety was established in 1989. Since that time, its board of director companies have been recognized throughout the United 
States – and worldwide – for the progress they promote and achieve in road safety. Other organizations and companies aside from newly joined State Farm include Johnson & Johnson, Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, Chubb, Acertus, Toyota North America, Hess Corporation, Consolidated Edison, and UPS.
