This is an 18,000 square foot home, 9bed/9bath, with plenty of amenities within one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in California.
The picture below shows the 1st floor location of the master bedroom..I will mention that the owners are fairly old, and were in their mid 60’s when they bought the place nearly 30 years ago.
My question, based on the fact that there are also THREE elevators in the home, is why would they opt for the 1st floor location? The current residents are the ones who built it..and I talked to the contractor who actually ‘built’ the home, he said they were hellbent on relocating master bed/bath from the original 2nd floor directly above it.

Also, what would you imagine they’d replace the ‘original’ master bed location with..a guest suite, which has a better layout and a much better view? The biggest question of all would be why a nearly-90 year old man and his wife would enjoy such a massive compound while barely spending any time upstairs.
