Jennifer Lopez isn’t having much luck offloading her Manhattan penthouse. The performer first listed the 10,000 square foot apartment four years ago, but even after a $2 million price cut in 2019, she’s still been unable to sell it. Lopez recently removed the listing, the New York Post reports.
Located just around the corner from Madison Square Park in The Whitman building, the four bedroom, eight bathroom penthouse is no less grand than the city it’s located in. Though the building was originally constructed in 1924, it’s been fully modernized with Italian marble and recessed lighting, along with other key amenities like a private key locked elevator and a smart home system. The aforementioned elevator opens into the unit’s impressive grand room, which has 12 foot high ceilings like the rest of the space’s rooms, along with skylights that add to the feeling of spaciousness. French doors open to one of four terraces, offering space to enjoy the sights and sounds of New York without being too enmeshed in the hubbub. Upstairs, the primary suite features two of its own terraces, one located off of the lush en suite bathroom which is flooded with light thanks to the french doors, and includes a freestanding tub and large standing shower.

Another draw is the decadent chef’s kitchen with sleek custom white cabinetry, a large island, and numerous windows that usher in the atmosphere of New York and maintain the brightness of the space. Lopez originally purchased the home in 2014 for $20.16 million.
