For Episode 4, set for December 14th at 12:30pm EST, we welcome Julia Gamolina, Founder and Editor in Chief at Madame Architect. Madame Architect an online magazine celebrating the extraordinary women that shape our world, designed to show young women entering the industry the myriad choices they have in crafting a dynamic, meaningful, and interesting career.
When asked about the biggest challenge she faces in the architectural industry, Julia said: “My age! It’s one thing to be a woman in this industry, and it’s another to be a young woman in key positions in this industry.”
During what promises to be a refreshingly honest talk about both architecture and advocacy, we’ll learn about the hurdles Julia faced in architecture school and professional practice, as well as the challenges she navigated in founding and developing one of the foremost platforms for spotlighting women in the AEC industry.
