Ignite announced the appointment of nine designers from their Auckland, Tauranga, and Queenstown studios. The appointments include Mark Crean to Director, Shara Paulo and Fabien Leclercq to Associate Director, and Caroline Bartlett, Enrica Flore, Nina Horvath, Rita Mouchi, Sam Castle, and Sophie Griffin to Associate.
New director Mark Crean joined Ignite’s Auckland studio in 2014 and Ignite say “Mark has demonstrated an incredible tenacity for delivering high-quality results for Ignite’s clients while building a strong team culture”. Mark leads Ignite’s specialist Aged Care team delivering projects for a select group of aged care providers in New Zealand.
Associate Director Fabien Leclercq works across a range of project typologies at Ignite, including aviation, commercial, and aged care projects. With a background in both structural engineering and architecture, Ignite say ”Fabien brings a valuable perspective that is an asset to the design team”.
Associate Director Shara Paulo, based in Ignite’s Tauranga studio, Ignite note she “has a passion for improving community and wellness outcomes through architecture. While consistently going above and beyond to meet her clients’ expectations, Shara also supports the development of team members across the studios.”
Ignite says Associate Caroline Bartlett “has a keen eye for detail and an excellent ability to manage all stages of a projec”t. Caroline joined the Auckland Ignite studio in 2010 and has worked across typologies, including remediation, civic, and retail. She also recently joined the Community leadership team to harness her experience and deliver Ignite’s civic projects.
Associate Enrica Flore has been part of Ignite’s Queenstown team since 2019, Ignite remarked that “her design flair, paired with strong project management skills, has played a key part in the growth of the studio to date”.
Ignite say “Associate Nina Horvath, who joined the Auckland studio in 2018 is a valuable member of the commercial team who aims to deliver the best design outcomes for the project, the client, and the community”.
Associate Rita Mouchi, who also works within Auckland’s commercial team “has developed strong leadership skills since joining Ignite in 2016. As a Green Star Accredited Professional, she brings a passion for improving community outcomes through good design and sustainability to her projects.”
Associate Sam Castle joined the Auckland studio in 2016. As an experienced technician with a background in fit-out design and production, Ignite noted that “Sam’s focus on precision detailing and his knowledge of construction processes make him an asset to his team”.
Ignite say that Associate Sophie Griffin, who joined Ignite in 2015 as an Interior Designer,”has an eye for creativity and great design. This enables her to translate client ideas into functional and meaningful solution”s.
