This is lovely isn’t it? By way of information, Brisbane is sub-tropical climate – similar to Florida. You would be able to have those big windows open for most of the year, with only June/July where it might be too cool to have them open.
However, as a lifelong resident of Brisbane, that terrarium section at the front would attract all kinds of creepy crawlys – you would end up with Huntsman spiders walking into the house all the time (they are harmless, but a big surprise on the wall of your bedroom at 2am). And maybe the odd cane toad would fall in there too if you are unlucky.
House looks lovely – just close those windows before dark.
