A few months ago, AD brought you a tour of Ashley Tisdale’s 2021-acquired Hollywood Hills home. As much as the gushed over her freshly-decorated abode, (“I fully love this house,” she said at the time), it looks like she’s already moved on. Dirt reports that influencer and pop star Madison Beer has just purchased the Mediterranean Villa-inspired three bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom. property.
Tisdale bought the 1923-build for $4.2 million and has now sold it for $5.9 million. It is unlikely that Tisdale and her composer husband, Christopher French, made any structural changes to the house. She told us during the house tour that the roughly 4,400 square-foot house was move-in ready, so she did not need to do any architectural design like she did with past homes.
But the entertainer-cum-interior designer did mention that this was the first house she decorated on her own, without the help of AD 100 designers Jake Arnold and Pierce & Ward, with whom she has collaborated in the past. In fact, the actress has turned her passion for decorating into a full-on business, launching her interior design company Frenshe Interiors during the pandemic.
Comparing pictures of the home from listings before Tisdale’s purchase and after she added her touches, the entrepreneur seems to have softened up the formerly stark-white interiors with warmer, more plush furniture. Items like an &Tradition Little Petra chair and poof added style to the main bedroom, and warm-colored couches in the TV room cozied up the space.
Sunlight reflects softly off ground floor walls and floods through large windows and glass doors, bathing those spaces with natural light. Sectioned into three distinct rooms that flow into one another, the living room is marked by a built-in bookshelf, fireplace, and french doors that directly open onto a patio. (You may recall the viral moment during Tisdale’s episode of Open Door where she revealed that she sent her husband to buy books to fill her living room bookshelves before the video shoot—maybe Beer would be willing to take those off her hands?)
Other exceptional features of the home include an entertainment room with an oversized built-in bed-like couch, an outdoor sauna, and a pool surrounded by lush foliage. No word on where Tisdale is headed next, but we know wherever it is, she will be surrounded by a green landscape. “I wanted to be surrounded by trees,” she said about this home. “Trees are a big thing for me. I feel like [they are] very healing and nurturing.”
