Looking at some of his other work, I’d say it’s mostly “Grayson Perry Style” influenced in this particular case by medieval-ish Russian Orthodox (Christian) Church Architecture/Art.
On his Wikipedia page (as I cannot find a website of his work by him, only galleries that seem to use the Wikipedia entry) it is broadly summed up as “Perry’s work refers to several ceramic traditions, including Greek pottery and folk art.”
ETA – This is the manufacturer of a lot of the tilings’ website. Embedded is an interview which mentions the jumping off point for the project being “The Wooden Architecture of Russia” a specific book & more broadly I believe the design of Russian Churches.
