With the end of the school year coming up soon, you might be thinking about a gift to make and give to the favorite teachers on your list. A little teacher cross stitch pattern is a great way to show your appreciation for a teacher who did an amazing job and to thank them for their dedication to your kiddo and all the others in their classroom.
We have a huge roundup of teacher cross stitch patterns here if you need more inspiration, but I wanted to highlight a few great ones I’ve come across recently that you might want to stitch up.
365 Days of Dana on Etsy has a cute collection of cross stitch and embroidery teacher appreciation patterns, which are clearly from 2020 since there’s one about being the best quarantine teacher (would still be cute as best teacher for a technology teacher!). Bonus: the patterns all fit in a 3-inch hoop, so they’re pretty quick and easy to stitch if you need to make a bunch for different teachers.
This sweet text-based message from Everything Cross Stitch is a bigger project but it would be appropriate for a really special teacher (say, kindergarten). It’s 109 by 115 stitches, or 7.8 by 8.2 inches on 14 count fabric. It also uses 14 colors.
Here’s a set of three teacher pun cross stitch patterns you can make for teacher appreciation or the end or beginning of the school year. All but one of them only uses two colors of thread, and they are about 5.5 inches around in 14 count fabric. The design is from Etsy seller TeaJeigh Designs.
Keep it simple with the ABC 123 cross stitch pattern from Albion Gould, which you could use on a bookmark, to decorate and candy jar or pencil cup or in lots of different ways. Or, speaking of bookmarks, here’s an actual bookmark pattern with a teacher theme from Cross Stitch.com.
Or thank them with a crayon motif from Budgies Little Studio on Etsy. This one uses 21 colors and is designed to fit in a 5 by 7 frame.
