With Father’s Day coming up soon here in the US I thought it would be a great time to share some ideas for masculine scrapbook layouts. I struggle a bit (and have heard many others say they do too) with creating masculine designs. For me using darker colors, straight lines, simpler designs without a lot of frills and using products that work within the theme of the photos help me to create something with a more traditional masculine look and feel.

This layout captures all the fun of a group of guys by the firepit making and eating Smores. Geometric, splatter and camping themed pattern papers are layered up behind the photos with a few sentiments, die cut title and typed tag for journaling. One of my favorite places to go to for masculine scrapbook design ideas is the Scrap the Boys blog. It’s all about scrapbooking men and boys and you’ll find so many ideas for lots of different occasions, hobby, interested and loads more! This fun page is all about boys and their big toys, in this case a cool Jeep design.

If your guy is into biking, cars or even watches then gears are an interesting element to utilize. This large gear was die cut, covered in rust color paint with a teal patina and heat embossed texture added.
