This double page spread has fun fish tail strips bursting from behind a large photo, carrying them over to the other side with smaller strips as little borders around the group of family photos. Take a closer look on the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog.
When I think of Fall one thing I think of most is spending time with family. From getting together for Thanksgiving, going Trick or Treating, taking a trip with everyone to the pumpkin patch or orchard, visiting the Fall Fair and more. There’s so many fun activities this time of year and so many wonderful opportunities to take pictures with your family. Not to mention the Autumn foliage creates an amazing photo backdrop! I’ve collected a great big pile of Fall Scrapbook layout ideas featuring family photos to help get you inspired.

If you’re not the best at stitching not to worry, this heart die has faux cross stitching included. The family photo has a few frames layered behind and there’s clusters of Fall flowers, pumpkins and sweet phrases too. Learn more at the Cocoa Vanilla blog.
Apples are a great Autumn accent for designs like on this sweet page from Jil. Her layout has layers of pattern papers, sewing, strips of washi tape and little apple accents and puny apple sayings everywhere. Take a closer look over on The Cherry on Top blog.
This fantastic family layout has a homey quilted feel with rows of colorful squares with matching watercolors behind each along with real and faux stitching. I spotted this page on the Sarah Miller House Creates Instagram page.
This adorable layout has a large border of rustic pumpkins across the top cut from different pattern papers and a more traditional border with a scarecrow and “Fall” across the bottom. Learn more at the Creative Memories blog.
This fun Fall layout has corners clustered with loads of autumn dies like leaves, acorns and critters along with wooden embellishments and a wood title. I love one of the larger acorns used as a space for journaling! Visit the Bramble Fox blog for a closer look.
Here’s another design inspired by quilting with lots of squares of pattern papers on an angle to create a patchwork pattern. It’s accented with stamped and colored pumpkins, wheat and a scarecrow. Watch a process video on Tawnya Robert’s Youtube channel.
Karla create amazing rows of fringe cut from pattern papers along the bottom of this Autumn Family layout. Above the fringe is a border created from a tree branch and leaves with the photos resting on top. I love the use of pink in the design, it helps break up on the browns and oranges. Visit the Simple Stories blog for more details.
This siblings mixed media layout captures all the fun of playing in a pile of fallen leaves! The background of the design is half circles of pattern papers that have been stitched around the edges. And notice the mats behind the phots are distressed, this plus the sewing, foiling, paint and splatter add up to create great texture on the page. Visit the Therm O Web blog for a process video.
Woodgrain pattern paper on the background creates a rustic look for this Fall Family Fun layout. Notice all the little sentiment strips scattered about, it’s a great way to fill some space and use up those types of embellishments. And I love the pops of bright orange among the layers of creams and browns! Visit the Little Scraps of Magic blog for more details.
I hope you and your family are able to create some amazing memories together this Fall!
