Succulent Christmas Ornament Craft – DIY & Crafts

Light: Succulents love light, and they need about six hours of sunlight a day, preferably in the morning. Place them near a window that gets plenty of sunlight. However, if the sunlight is too intense, it can cause the leaves to become sunburnt.
Water: Succulents need less water than other plants. It&#8217;s best to water them thoroughly and then let the soil dry out completely before watering again. In winter, succulents go into a dormant period and need even less water.
Soil: They need well-draining soil. If the soil holds too much water, it can cause the roots to rot. You can buy soil specially made for succulents or make your own by mixing potting soil with coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Temperature: Succulents prefer cooler temperatures during the night and warmer temperatures during the day. Most succulents will do well in temperatures between 60°F and 80°F.
Fertilizer: During the growing season (spring and summer), succulents can benefit from a dose of fertilizer. Use a fertilizer specifically designed for succulents, and follow the package instructions.
