Looking for a super cute, super unique album to capture all your summer fun? Then you’ve got to check out this amazing Lighthouse Shaped Mini Album project from Traci using products and cut files from Doodlebug. For the base of the album she used a die cut file of a light house and cutting it from white acrylic but you could use chipboard or thick cardstock too. She decorated the cover with pattern papers, a little seagull with word bubble and a gems for the lights, holding it all together at the top with an “O” ring.
Inside each page is cut from white using the same shaped die and decorated with more pattern papers, stickers and beachy embellishments. The tall shape gives an interesting challenge to design and decorate but she managed to get a lot on each page with plenty of room for photos and journaling.
She got creative with her photo matts too having some be skinny and others round like portholes.
Take a closer look at this entire project over on the Artsy Albums blog.
