We have all been there at one time or another. We’ve decided on that perfect embroidery pattern and worked hard to finish it, only to realize that we’ve made one mistake or another. It can be frustrating to work hard on a project only to realize something went wrong.
To help avoid those pitfalls, The Spruce Crafts has come up with a list of the 20 most common embroidery mistakes. It is a great reminder of what to avoid when making a project.
Looking at the list, I (sadly) was able to check off quite a few mistakes that I have done. I am notorious for displaying projects in the sun and boy does that do a number on them.
Not only is this list helpful for beginners, it is a good refresher for more experienced sewers. I don’t know about you, but I definitely need a reminder now and then.
